ideal dog weights
How do you know your dogs ideal adult body weight, for a mixed breed, on all raw?
I have a Staffy x Kelpie, at 6 months of age he weighs 18.5kgs.
He is more stocky like a Staffy.
Vet predicted he would be anywhere from 20-30 kgs fully grown.
there is no real way to know the ideal. Its best to work off his physical appearance, like ribs sticking out, back bone ect… but also with that mix, is he solid (maybe not yet) from the staffy or is his body more like the kelpie, I would probably wait to see which body shape he takes, if kelpie, he would probably weigh a little more than the average if staffy he would probably weigh a little less than the average.
